We return to London in 1970, when Manuel de la Calva and Ramón Arcusa reinvented themselves as Manolo and Ramón. They financed the recording of an LP, enlisting renowned studio musicians such as Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull and Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, and collaborators of George Martin (Cy Payne and Kenny Clayton) on production. We already revisited those sessions in 2023 with ‘Lágrimas, sonrisas’ (Tears, Smiles), and now we return to them with two more sublime gems.

‘Un día pedí’ (One Day I Asked) and ‘Por tu amor’ (For Your Love) (released for the first time as a single) are two sonic monuments where pop and soul embrace thanks to the luminous orchestral arrangements crafted in the British capital.
