Early Christian was a short-lived Belgian band formed in the late 1960s, influenced by psychedelic music and bands like Cream. They gained recognition after winning a major talent contest, which led to a recording contract and numerous live performances.
Their only recording for the Philips label is a highly collectible and ultra hard-to-find 45, including “Automatic Fly” and “Fire.” Both songs are perfect examples of late-sixties psych pop, driven by fuzzed-out guitars and phasing effects that feel straight out of an underground club.
Both tracks have been carefully restored and remastered, respecting their original sound.
This is a limited reissue of 450 hand-numbered copies, including a 4-page insert with information (in English) and pictures provided by the original members of the band, as well as a postcard.
