The legendary Personality Crisis (CRISIS 0.3) are celebrating their 30th anniversary in the music industry, loyal from day one to the dark garage punk/rock’n’roll genre, which they have been consistently serving since their first record appearance in 1995 with the 7’’ single “Lost case/ Dead fun” from Swallow It All Records. The band’s history begins in Katerini in 1994 with the initial line-up of Gaz (Vocals), Fuzzy (Guitar)(R.I.P.), James (Guitar), Akiss (Bass Guitar), Jimmy Hat (Drums). The following year, with a change in the drums (Loco Gringo), they went down to Rethymno, Crete to record their first material, with primitive punk elements influenced by the American punk of the east coast.
After the departure of James and Fuzzy in 1997, Karrie White and Caveman Joe (on guitars) joined, the band's headquarters were moved to Thessaloniki, while the following year they released their first LP “THIS CAN'T BE THE END” again on SWALLOW IT ALL, recorded at JAM STUDIOS with guest drummer Bullet Cost (R.I.P.) from B’ Songs.
Five years later, P.C. (CRISIS 0.2 A.K.A “DEAD DOLLS”) will be the opening act for groups such as L.A GUNS, MISFITS, MC5, BACKYARD BABIES etc. and participants in the ROCKWAVE FESTIVAL 2008 with the band now completed by Dra (Bass Guitar), Nikie Ditch (Drums) and Zara Kay (Lead Guitar) they release their second album “INVASION OF THE DEAD DOLLS “, S.I.A 2007, recorded at “ELECTRIC EYE STUDIOS” by Chris Danny, with the final touches being signed by “THE PLANT STUDIOS” (California) and John Cuniberti, producer of Metallica, Santana, Faith No More and others.
In 2012 they unofficially released the E.P “Can’t Escape Myself” (a cover of Sound and a lost track of “DEAD DOLLS”), with some live acoustic performances of tracks from “INVASION OF THE DEAD DOLLS”.
We are now in 2018, and in the CRISIS 0.3 mutation, with the release in online form of the E.P, recorded live at ROUGH STUDIOS, “THE VORTEX” (Vortex & Dark Wall Soul), with members George Gazetis-Vocals, Thanos Stergiou-Guitars, Themis Livaditis- Guitars/ Backing vocals, Elias Panagos- Bass guitar/ percussions/ backing vocals, Vaggelis Panoulas- Drums while 2025 finds Personality Crisis in great form, giving us 11 pure-blooded psychedelic punk/r’n’r dynamites, which they recorded at P.C. Studio Vassilis Karkavitsas, produced by Zorion Kay and One Bag Productions, while the mastering was done by Stratos (Valve Studios, Thessaloniki). The album artwork was designed by Eleutheria Moscha, based on an idea by George Gazetis.
The release of “Vortex, State of mind” is scheduled for November 20, 2025, on vinyl format, concerns 300 numbered copies, which will contain a two-page color insert while the first 100 will also contain a large-sized collector's poster, for the 30th anniversary of Personality Crisis. The release concerns a co-production of the labels Dead Fun Records, B-otherSide Records & Vinylmania Records.
