Marianne Faithfull is considered a legend of the British scene. This album takes us back to the days when her innocent face, the noble lineage look and the childlike voice made teenagers dream. The fifteen recordings are taken from five different sessions published in the two-year period 1965-1966 by the BBC radio during her appearances on the influential Saturday Club programme which was broadcast between 1957 and 1969; one of the earliest, and for several years almost the only, radio programme in the country to broadcast pop music.
